Resilience isn't about being a lone individual who stands strong against the blows of life. Resilience is bringing other people into the folds of your life and standing together with them against the blows of the world.
It's learning how to trust and open again. It's feeling safe enough to show another your woundedness and seeing their wounds as well.
It's having a good laugh with a friend at how upside-down, crazy dizzying, and down right ridiculous life is sometimes. Because our traumas happen within the relational field, so too does healing from them.
